Daily Dose saves over 20million kg of British produce

Daily Dose Juice, a UK-based juice brand that uses cold pressing to extract natural, nutritious and delicious juices from wonky veg, is making impressive progress towards its mission to tackle food waste and support British farming.

Daily Dose works closely with UK growers to rescue surplus or “wonky” fruit and veg, perfectly good produce that’s often discarded for not meeting supermarket specifications, and turns it into cold-pressed juices packed with natural flavour and nutrition. Its approach reduces unnecessary waste, celebrates seasonality, and puts sustainability at the heart of every bottle.

Last year, Daily Dose gave a second life to over 20 million kilograms of fresh produce including:

* Apples – 19 million kg
* Carrots – 120,000 kg
* Beetroots – 51,600 kg
* Cucumbers – 154,800 kg
* Kale – 21,000 kg
* Ginger – 420,000 kg

With food waste accounting for around 6% of global greenhouse gas emissions, Daily Dose is showing how simple ideas, scaled thoughtfully, can have a measurable environmental impact while supporting local agriculture and delivering a high-quality product.
