IW Capital announces £4m investment into Navigator
IW Capital announces £4 million investment into Navigator, the digital advertising venture founded by former Team GB rower and Beijing 2008 Olympic bronze medallist, Steve Rowbotham. The funding represents a significant milestone for the business as it accelerates platform innovation and expands its commercial reach.
Navigator works with global brands including Formula One, HSBC, and L’Oréal to deliver more effective consumer targeting online. Its technology connects advertisers with fully consented first-party data collected through airline and travel booking platforms, providing a powerful alternative as consumers increasingly decline to accept cookies. According to the company, Navigator has access to more than two billion consented data points, allowing brands to engage customers in a privacy-compliant and highly targeted way.
Steve Rowbotham, Co-Founder of Navigator, commented:
“This investment is a major milestone for Navigator. It enables us to accelerate platform innovation and scale our commercial footprint to bring our technology to more travel brands through strategic partnerships. As an Olympic athlete, I understand the value of a high-performance team that is driven towards a common goal.”
The funding reflects IW Capital’s ongoing commitment to supporting ambitious, high-growth UK businesses. Navigator joins a portfolio that includes companies such as digital therapeutics provider Strolll and IT equipment refurbisher, Reconome, both examples of IW Capital’s backing for innovative solutions in rapidly evolving markets.
Charlie Lyon Carroll, Investment Director at IW Capital, said:
“Navigator is solving one of the most urgent challenges in digital marketing, how to deliver effective advertising in a world where privacy is paramount.”
This latest investment highlights IW Capital’s mission to support dynamic entrepreneurs and deliver growth capital to businesses shaping the future of their industries.
